Answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Since registration for our training courses is only possible online through the Training portal, you need to use your telc login information in order to access qualifications, courses and seminars.
The same log-in details can be used across our Campus and Community learning platforms. The log-in details always consist of an e-mail address and password. You can only use your e-mail address once in telc systems. It is not possible to use it to register for separate roles, for example as examiner and administrator.
To log in to the telc portals, please register here.
After registration, you will immediately receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. To activate your account, either click on this link or copy it into the address bar of your browser.
Note: The activation link is valid for up to 10 minutes.
To register for a telc training session, go to the Training portal and select the desired event from the list.
After you have placed the desired product in the shopping cart, you can continue to process the order and complete the payment. You will then receive a booking confirmation. The invoice will be automatically sent by post to the billing address you provided.
If you find that the event you are interested in is fully booked, you should still put yourself on the waiting list, as a place might become available closer to the time. You can even do this for several events. This will increase your chance of getting a place on one of the dates. As soon as you get a place, we will notify you by e-mail.
To check your registrations in the Training portal, go to your profile after logging in and select the "Seminars" option.
Specific information for examiner and rater qualifications: The on-site and live online qualifications can be found under the heading "LICENCE Testing/Evaluation", the online qualifications (asynchronous self-study modules on Campus) under the heading "ONLINE LICENCE Testing/Evaluation".
Cancelling a course must be done by sending an e-mail to training@telc.net.
You can cancel free of charge until the end of the cancellation period (usually 14 days before the start of the event). After the deadline has expired, you will be charged. See telc’s general terms and conditions for details.
When making the payment, if the page takes a long time to load without you being redirected, please check that you have allowed pop-ups for the page. You can do this by disabling the pop-up blocker. This ensures that the pop-up window for the payment data can open. If you have any further difficulties with the booking, please contact us by e-mail and describe your problem as precisely as possible.
When registering, you have the option of choosing invoicing to your institute. Please note, however, that purchase on account is not possible. There are various payment methods available to you.
If the registration has been successfully completed, you will automatically receive a booking confirmation by e-mail. Check your spam folder if you cannot find it. If you have not received a confirmation e-mail, or if your payment has not been made, your registration has not been accepted. In this case, you should try to make the booking again. You can check the status of your registrations at any time in your profile under "Seminars".
The respective requirements for participation can be found in the telc Training portal under the respective date.
Please contact us by e-mail at training@telc.net and provide both your existing data and those to be updated. You can change the billing address individually when booking.
To view your existing examiner or rater licences and their expiry dates, log in to the telc Community. Select "telc connect" --> "My licences". You will be taken to your area. Here you can download and print out an overview, which also serves as proof of your licence(s). In general, depending on the number of events, it takes up to four weeks for the assessment you complete during a qualification event to be evaluated and the licences to be registered. Please note that examiners and raters will not be sent written proof of licence acquisition/certificates. You will receive an e-mail when your results have been processed.
If you activate a licence, you can be requested as a potential examiner (PRF) or rater (BRF). In telc Community, select "telc connect" --> "My licences" to be taken to your area. Here you can activate your licence by clicking on the box next to the licence. You can revoke this release at any time. Your contact and address information must be complete in order to activate the licences.
It usually takes up to four weeks after the event for the documents to be evaluated and the licences to be entered centrally into our system. For your planning, please note that you are not allowed to examine during this period. Please also note that written proof of licence acquisition will no longer be sent. You will receive an e-mail when your results have been processed.
1. Attend a face-to-face event (on-site or live online):
An overview of all dates for examiner and rater qualifications as well as the registration page can be found in the Training portal training.telc.net.
2. Complete an online qualification:
If you are a telc examiner with a currently-valid examiner licence, you have the option of purchasing access to self-study modules for additional licences on telc Campus under certain conditions.
The prerequisite is a currently-valid telc examiner licence acquired as part of a face-to-face event (on-site or live online). This means that you have successfully attended a face-to-face event in the respective language in the last three years. The licence requirements for the respective online qualification can be found in the training portal.
You can find your online modules and/or your online test for the licensing module on the telc Campus in the "Courses > Training" section. Please select the appropriate course. More information about the online module/online test or about completing the practical assignment can be found on the corresponding information sheet.
Upload your practical assignment to the telc Campus in the respective course area within the 8-week period after the end of the course (8 weeks after the last seminar in the case of modular courses).
It is possible to postpone the deadline by six weeks. A fee of 40 euros will be charged for the extension of the deadline.
Since approval requires an informal written request, please send an e-mail to: training@telc.net if you wish to renew.
More information can be found on the corresponding information sheet on preparing for the practical task.
You must complete the online phase of a course within 6 months of the last course date.
